Kate Hazel Hall (she/her) writes fiction and non-fiction. Her debut YA novel, From Darkness, released in November 2020 from Duet Books (Interlude Press, New York). Kate lives and works in Australia, on the lands and waterways of the Wadawurrung peoples. Kate is a university tutor who spends as much time as possible in or near the Southern Ocean. When not writing or in the water, she likes to sketch her settings and characters, because amateur doodling, especially in the margins, is an excellent way of imagining and telling stories.
